Remuneration and related undertaking

I am a Director of Senza Rit Ltd, a property management company (C/o Cunningham Grant Chartered Accountants, Unit G6, The Granary Business Centre, Coal Road, Cupar , Fife KY15 5YQ). I expect to receive remuneration of between £1,001 and £2,000 per annum in the form of life cover. I do not play an active role in running the business.

I am a sole trader of Thomson Holdings, a property investment company (C/o Cunningham Grant Chartered Accountants, Unit G6, The Granary Business Centre, Coal Road, Cupar , Fife KY15 5YQ). I expect to receive remuneration of between £10,001 and £15,000 per annum and will spend 1 hour per month in the role. This remuneration represents a net sum that is also recorded in the heritable property category.

Overseas visits

From 16 to 26 October 2025, I was part of a delegation of ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ to meet with MPs, NGOs and entrepreneurs based in Bhutan to learn and share information about our respective countries and legislatures. The cost of the visit, amounting to £4,885.71, was comprised of £2,612.20 for travel and £2,243.51 for other expenses, and was paid by the permissible donor the Tam O’Shanter Trust (of Little Milton, Nr Kingussie, Inverness-shire, PH21 1NS) which is a registered Scottish charity (SC030043) and a family charitable trust with an all-encompassing (rather than specific) charitable objective. From 17 to 22 August 2025, I visited Portland, Oregon and Sacramento, California, USA, as part of a delegation of ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ to meet with health professionals, family members of individuals who had used Oregon's Death with Dignity Act and California's End of Life Options Act, Senators and representatives of organisations who provided information about the provisions of the Act. The costs of the visit, including travel, accommodation and meals amounted to £3,938 and were paid by the permissible donor Dignity in Dying (a not-for-profit organisation that campaigns for a change in the law on assisted dying, of 181 Oxford Street, London, W1D 2JT). From 4 to 5 September 2023, I attended and gave a talk at the Promoting International Cooperation, Cultural Understanding & Peace Conference in Skopje, North Macedonia. The costs of the travel and accommodation amounted to £753.41 and were met, along with hospitality costs, by the Institute of Cultural Diplomacy (an international, not-for-profit, non-governmental organization with headquarters in the USA and in Germany). I am a director of Revive, a Community Interest Company which promotes the understanding of issues arising from explosive devices. I receive no income, benefit, or gifts for this role.

I am an Ambassador of the Westminster All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Fair Business Banking. I receive no income, benefit, or gifts for this role.

From 3 to 6 November 2024, I visited Sarajevo and Srebrenica with Beyond Srebrenica, a charity that educates and informs about the atrocities of the civil war in Bosnia. The costs of the travel and accommodation amounted to £900 (flights £605, accommodation and meals £295) and were met by Beyond Srebrenica (a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation No SCO46540; Beyond Srebrenica, c/o Turcan Connell Solicitors, Princes Exchange, Earl Grey Street, Edinburgh EH3 9EE).
