Until 4 May 2022 when I stood down, I was a local authority councillor for East Lothian Council (of John Muir House, Brewery Park, Haddington, East Lothian EH41 3HA). I worked approximately 10-15 hours per week and received remuneration of between £15,001 and £20,000 per annum, which included the use of a council owned laptop computer and a council mobile telephone for which a data package and council related calls were settled by East Lothian Council. On 7 December 2023 I received a payment of £500 from GoFibre Broadband Limited (broadband provider; of Floor 8, Exchange Tower, 19 Canning Street, Edinburgh, EH3 8EG) to cover the costs of the winning and runner up prizes for schoolchildren for my annual Christmas Card Competition and a portion of the card's printing costs. On 13 December 2024 I received a payment of £500 from GoFibre Broadband Limited to cover to cover the sponsorship of the production and prizes for my annual Christmas card competition.
