Hayden Hunter of Alexandria Named as a Finalist at the Scottish Apprenticeship Awards 2026

That the Parliament congratulates Hayden Hunter, a 17-year-old from Alexandria, on being named a finalist in the Foundation Apprentice of the Year category at the Scottish Apprenticeship Awards 2026; recognises Hayden’s commitment to his Foundation Apprenticeship in civil engineering with a placement at West Dunbartonshire Council Roads Department; notes that Hayden has since progressed to an HND in civil engineering at Glasgow Kelvin College and hopes to secure a Graduate Apprenticeship in the future; believes that his achievement reflects the dedication of young people across West Dunbartonshire pursuing work based learning pathways, and wishes Hayden success in the future.
