That the Parliament congratulates Catherine Ingebrigtsen on receiving a Long Service Award from Alzheimer Scotland in recognition of 15 years of exceptional volunteer service; notes that Catherine has contributed enormously to Alzheimer Scotland (Fife), bringing energy, enthusiasm and a remarkable commitment to improving the lives of people living with dementia; recognises that, over her years of service, she has trained in seated exercise in order to lead one of the organisation’s seated-exercise groups, and that she also supports staff on a weekly basis at the Day Services group, dedicating full days to assisting people living with dementia and offering friendship, compassion and encouragement; acknowledges that these are only a few examples of the wide-ranging support that she has provided over the last 15 years; commends the profound positive impact that she has made on the Fife team, with those involved describing her as a unique and inspiring individual whose zest for life continues to uplift all who work with her, and wishes Catherine every success and happiness.
