That the Parliament congratulates the Neonatal Unit at Forth Valley Royal Hospital on being awarded Gold Accreditation by Bliss, the national baby charity; understands that the Bliss Baby Charter Accreditation programme measures the work of neonatal units in the UK against best practice standards, with gold accreditation being the highest possible recognition; notes that the charter is designed to encourage family-integrated care and to help neonatal units develop a culture of partnership with parents; further notes that the Forth Valley Neonatal unit is the first Level Two Neonatal Unit in Scotland to achieve this accreditation; commends the unit on providing what has been described as "an exemplary standard of care" and on its commitment to family-integrated care, and congratulates all involved.
