Kirsty Rafferty Wins Unsung Hero Award

That the Parliament congratulates Kirsty Rafferty on winning the Unsung Hero Award at the 2025 Public Sector Catering Awards; understands that the Public Sector Catering Awards, which took place on 24 April at the London Hilton Metropole, celebrated winners from across the public catering sector from education, healthcare and care homes to prisons, universities, the armed forces and catering colleges; notes that Kirsty's award comes after the much-loved barista recently marked 20 years of service in the Scottish Parliament; believes that Kirsty began working in the Scottish Parliament on 22 November 2004 and that her warm approach, dedication to her craft, and unique decorations have made the Garden Lobby coffee bar a Holyrood institution; commends Kirsty on this well-deserved recognition; congratulates each of the award winners and nominees, and pays tribute to all of the hard-working Scottish Parliament staff for their dedication.
