That the Parliament congratulates Stepps Primary School in Stepps on winning a Gold School Sport Award from sportscotland, with support from the National Lottery; recognises that the award is a mark of excellence in embedding sport and physical activity into the school’s curriculum; commends the school for what it sees as its proactive engagement with pupils in planning and delivering extra-curricular sport and leadership opportunities; acknowledges its success in building strong community links to broaden access to sport, and for providing clear pathways to sustained physical activity beyond school, and wishes the staff and pupils continued achievement and recognition for their dedication to promoting health, leadership, and sporting excellence.
