That the Parliament congratulates Pentland Primary School in Coatbridge on being awarded a Gold School Sport Award by sportscotland, funded by the National Lottery; recognises that this prestigious national award celebrates the school’s success in placing sport at the heart of its ethos, planning, and practice; commends Pentland Primary for its excellent performance across the core areas of the School Sport Award, including physical education, school sport, and pupil leadership; acknowledges the school’s dedication to improving opportunities for pupils to participate in sport and physical activity, and to establishing strong links with its surrounding community, and wishes all staff and pupils continued success in promoting health, wellbeing and life-long participation in sport.
