Old Kilpatrick Food Parcels Reach Third Anniversary

  • Submitted by: Marie McNair, Clydebank and Milngavie, Scottish National Party.
  • Date lodged: Monday, 28 April 2025
  • Motion reference: S6M-17298

That the Parliament recognises Old Kilpatrick Food Parcels in serving the community for three years; understands that the charity was set up in 2022 as a response to the increase in the cost of living; further understands that there are no criteria for accessing the charity’s services, which include emergency food parcels for people in need, a food pantry and "Food Rescue", which directly tackles food waste from local businesses; celebrates the success of the charity, and congratulates the team of volunteers on this anniversary.
