To ask the Scottish Government how important it considers the services provided by Renfrewshire Women's Aid to be.
Answer
The Scottish Government is absolutely committed to preventing and eradicating all forms of violence against women and girls, and we are clear that a key aspect of our approach to that is access to high quality, specialist services for women and children at risk of or experiencing domestic abuse. Local women鈥檚 aid groups are doing important work to support vulnerable women and children, and our priority is to ensure that they continue to receive such support.

To ask the Scottish Government, in light of the potential impact on the local community, what its position is on proposals to close Paisley Crown Post Office and what discussions it has had or plans to have with (a) Post Office Ltd and (b) the UK Government regarding its future.
Answer
The Scottish Government recognises and prioritises the importance of our town centres and local high streets through our Town Centre Action Plan and has provided funding support to the 'Paisley First' Business Improvement District. It also recognises the importance of post offices to local communities and economies in Scotland. Post offices and postal services are reserved and we have made it clear to both the UK Government and Post Office Ltd that they have a responsibility to ensure that the availability of existing services is maintained across Scotland.
A public consultation on the on-going provision of Post Office services in an alternative location within Paisley town centre is currently taking place and Post Office Ltd is keeping Scottish Government officials informed of the process.

To ask the Scottish Government, further to the answer to question S4W-28251 by Shona Robison on 16 November 2015, whether it will provide an update on what progress is being made in establishing the six new elective treatment centres and when the final (a) range of services at and (b) allocation of funds for each site will be agreed.
Answer
The Scottish Government are in continuous discussions with the five NHS boards concerned in taking forward this major investment in our NHS. Work is still ongoing on the range of services required at each site to meet the likely changing demographics over the next 20 years. We expect to have full business cases which will set out the services and funding required for each of the elective treatment centres during 2016-17.

To ask the Scottish Government what action it is taking to ensure that there are enough supply teachers to meet demand.
Answer
Intake targets to initial teacher education are set following advice from the Teacher Workforce Planning Advisory Group. These targets include an eight percent allowance for supply.
On the basis of advice from this group, we have increased student teacher intake targets in each of the last five years. The intake target for 2016-17 is 66 percent above the 2011-12 target.
