To ask the Scottish Government by what date the second annual progress report on child poverty will be published.

Due to the unprecedented impact of Coronavirus we have made the difficult decision to delay preparation and publication of the 2019-20 Progress Report on Child Poverty, which was required by end June 2020.

This has allowed officials to focus efforts on protecting communities from the impacts of the virus in line with the powers provided by the Coronavirus (Scotland) Act 2020.

We will consult with the Poverty and Inequality Commission in relation to progress made and the further progress required, ensuring they have the time they need to consider this request.

Tackling child poverty remains an absolute priority and we are committed to publishing the report as soon as reasonably practicable in the circumstances.

To ask the Scottish Government, in light of the COVID-19 outbreak, whether it is safe for NHS staff to launder uniforms at home.

The health and safety of our staff and patients is our main priority at this unprecedented time.

Uniforms with COVID-19 related contamination should be washed by NHS laundry facilities and not taken home to wash. Where possible, a number of Health Boards have expanded the use of NHS facilities to accommodate the laundering of uncontaminated uniforms for staff working within COVID-19 wards.

A review of the role of uniforms in the transfer of infections, and the effectiveness of laundry methods in removing contamination, has taken place based on the latest scientific and clinical advice. This review concluded that there should be no risk of infection from areas of uniform not covered by Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

A guidance document, has been developed and is available online and provides specific guidance on the use of PPE, as well as advice on preventing transmission. We are constantly updating this online resource to reflect the latest scientific and clinical advice.

The guidance clarifies that it is safe for staff to launder uniforms at home, provided they are not contaminated and are washed separately from other items, at the hottest temperature appropriate for the fabric and stored and transported safely .

To ask the Scottish Government what discussions it has had with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde regarding the supply of essential medication to individuals, including those who are having to self-isolate due to the current pandemic.

It is critical that we protect and support the people in our communities who are at the highest risk. That is why we have asked the 200,000 or so people who are at the highest clinical risk from Covid-19 to self-isolate for the next 12 weeks, which includes they're being as far as possible from other members of their households.

Letters to the 200,000 patients began to go out earlier this week. We anticipate that all that work, through all those routes, will be completed within a week.

The letters detail information about how we, working with general practitioners and local resilience partnerships will provide support to help with managing medical conditions and with arrangements for delivering medicines and services.
