The Scottish Government have developed our public health marketing campaign for this flu season, which is firmly based on research and insight on effective messaging in light of Covid-19. This extensive campaign will also involve close partnership work with public, private and third sector organisations to amplify our message.

I was informed of the outcome of the moderated exam results on Thursday 30 July in a briefing meeting with officials and the SQA. A range of information related to this period has already been released following Freedom of Information requests and is available on the Scottish Government website.

I refer the member to the answer to question S5W-31360. I was informed of the details of the moderation process on 30 July 2020.

As was previously stated in response to question S5W-31185, this is an important issue which we have been carefully considering and as such we are currently developing a Scottish Government branded physical and digital face covering exemption card, which should be available shortly.

I made clear to Parliament on 22 September that details of the proposed approach to the 2021 examination diet will be announced before the October recess.

Along with a very limited number of officials, I am granted pre-release access to the SQA results each year to allow the opportunity to prepare for the results announcement. Members of the Coronavirus Education Recovery Group, apart from the Deputy First Minister and the Chief Examiner, do not have pre-release access to SQA results.

We are focused on finalising the R100 North Lot contract award with BT as soon as possible, thus enabling us to progress delivery of access to superfast broadband to people, businesses and communities in some of the most remote parts of Scotland.

We anticipate that the contract will be signed by the end of this calendar year.

Sections 8 and 14 of the Act are two of the provisions relating to Island Community Impact Assessments. Section 9 of the Act, which needs to be brought into force at the same time as sections 8 and 14, requires an affirmative Scottish Statutory Instrument setting out the process for reviews of decisions relating to ICIAs.

Activity on ICIAs was put on hold to enable Scottish Government to focus its resources on the response to COVID-19. However, following a meeting with the Chief Executives and Leaders of the Islands Authorities at the Islands Strategic Group on 26 May 2020, this work was re-prioritised.

The regulations required under section 9 of the Act and the associated commencement regulations are due to come into force on 23 December, 2020. This date does remain subject to any further urgent legislative work that may be required as a result of COVID-19 and EU Exit.

The commencement regulations will bring into force sections 7 to 14 (inclusive) of the Islands (Scotland) Act 2018.

As agreed with COSLA, funding allocations to each local authority were based on a distribution formula calculated on the basis of deprivation (70%) and rurality (30%). Agreed amounts allocated are detailed in the following table:
