I want to build on the convener’s question. The bill proposed a two-stage prohibition period, which would prohibit transfer for 30 days to allow groups to express an interest and then 40 days to complete an application. The Land Commission has now said that there should be a single 90-day period to allow more time for communities to organise. Would you support that? Is 90 days long enough for communities to get their ducks in a row? Maybe we could start with Laura Hamlet.
