1. Decision on taking business in private:

The Committee agreed to take items 3 and 4 in private.


2. Scrutiny of the Scottish Housing Regulator:

The Committee took evidence from—

David Bookbinder, Director, Glasgow and West of Scotland Forum of Housing Associations;

Tony Cain , Policy Manager, Association of Local Authority Chief Housing Officers (ALACHO);

Patrick Gilbride, Retired Director, Dalmuir Park Housing Association;

Daryl McIntosh, Chief Executive Officer, SHARE Ltd;

Alan Stokes, Policy Lead, Scottish Federation of Housing Associations (SFHA);

and then from—

Lindsay Anderson, Chair, Link’s Tenant Scrutiny Panel;

James Calder, National Policy and Engagement Officer, MECOPP;

Shona Gorman, Vice-Chair, Tenants Together Scotland;

Robyn Kane, Secretary, Edinburgh Tenants Federation.

 

Evelyn Tweed MSP declared an interest as being a member of Loreburn Housing Association Ltd and a former housing professional.

 


3. Scrutiny of the Scottish Housing Regulator (in private):

The Committee considered the evidence heard earlier in the meeting.


4. EU Law Tracker (in private):

The Committee considered correspondence from the Convener of the Net Zero, Energy and Transport Committee and agreed to write to the acting Minister for Climate Action.
