2. Victims, Witnesses, and Justice Reform (Scotland) Bill:

The Committee took evidence on parts 1 to 3 of the Bill at Stage 1 from—

Angela Constance, Cabinet Secretary for Justice and Home Affairs, Heather Tully, Criminal Justice Reform Unit, Criminal Justice Division and Lucy Smith, Victims and Witnesses Unit, Criminal Justice Division, Scottish Government.


3. HM Inspectorate of Constabulary in Scotland Thematic Review of Policing Mental Health in Scotland:

The Committee took evidence from—

Craig Naylor, Chief Inspector and Brian McInulty, Lead Inspector, HM Inspectorate of Constabulary in Scotland;

Dr Arun Chopra, Medical Director, Mental Welfare Commission for Scotland, Advisory Group Member.


4. Victims, Witnesses and Justice Reform (Scotland) Bill (In Private):

The Committee considered the evidence it heard earlier under agenda item 2.


5. HM Inspectorate of Constabulary in Scotland Thematic Review of Policing Mental Health in Scotland (In Private):

The Committee considered the evidence it heard earlier under agenda item 3. The Committee agreed to write to the Scottish Government.
