1. Decisions on taking business in private:

The Committee agreed to take items 5, 6, 7 and 8 in private.


2. Welfare and sustainability in Scottish youth football:

The Committee took evidence from—

Ian Maxwell, Chief Executive, Scottish Football Association;

Neil Doncaster, Chief Executive, Scottish Professional Football League.

Brian Whittle declared an interest as having a grandson in the Club Academy Scotland System.


3. Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill (UK Parliament legislation):

The Committee took evidence on legislative consent memorandum LCM-S6-62 from—

Neil Gray, Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care, Ailsa Garland, Solicitor and Susan Wilson, Assisted Dying Shadow Bill Team Manager, Scottish Government.


4. Subordinate legislation:

The Committee considered the following negative instrument—

The Committee agreed to make no recommendations in relation to the instrument.


5. Welfare and sustainability in Scottish youth football (In Private):

The Committee considered the evidence it heard earlier under agenda item 2.


6. Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill (UK Parliament legislation) (In Private):

The Committee considered the evidence it heard earlier under agenda item 3 and to delegate to the Convener responsibility for signing off a report on the LCM on the Committee’s behalf.


7. Proposed national Good Food Nation plan (In Private):

The Committee considered a draft report. Various changes were agreed to, and the Committee agreed to consider a revised draft by correspondence or, if need be, at its next meeting.


8. ASD and ADHD pathways and support inquiry (In Private):

The Committee received a background briefing from the National Autism Implementation Team (NAIT).
